You would like to discover Burgundy? Enjoy the green landscapes, the vineyards, the architecture & history, the food?

A highly recommended trip which you will, for sure, enjoy! Beaune is a famous city in France, known for the Hospices de Beaune, an hospital for the poor which was built in 1443 by Nicolas Rolin and a fine example of the French 15th century architecture. An astonishing monument to visit.

We stayed at Le Hameau de Barboron, after it was recommended by a friend.

A wonderful place, in the middle of the countryside, decorated with style and elegance in a simple but traditional way.

Too bad we could only stay one night… The best place to rest, enjoy the nature, read a book next to the fireplace and enjoy the delicacies of the region.

Le Comptoir des Tontons
The perfect place for a nice dinner (couple & friends). A great homemade menu by Pepita: fresh and bio products taken from a farm outside Beaune. Great creativity and mix of tastes in the menu with products that I didn’t know such as Ail des Ours – an herb which has the taste of garlic.

Le Benaton
I had always dreamed about going to a Michelin Star restaurant, this day has arrived!
My first experience @ Le Benaton was a success… SCRUMPTIOUS!

Loiseau des Vignes
An alternative to Le Benaton. Loiseau des Vignes was founded by Bernard Loiseau, one of the most famous French chefs. Some of his famous dishes:
